G-Loomis GLX Mag Bass Casting Rods

The GLX remains one of our lightest and most sensitive high-performance rods. In comparison to our IMX and other lower modulus materials, it is noticeably lighter and more sensitive. For more than 20 years, it has been the cornerstone of our product line due to its high modulus and tensile strength, allowing us to use 15% less material while maintaining the same power. This year, we have completely redesigned the GLX Series with a proprietary reel seat, split-grip handle configuration, and Fuji K-Frame SIC guides. The Mag Bass and Spin Jig rods in the classic actions come with full cork grips, while some of the tapers have been improved for a better overall rod line. Incredibly, the new GLX offers increased sensitivity. All we can say is... they're truly impressive!
